Collaboration & Credentials
With a long history of collaboration and community spirit, the North Puget Cancer
Center at United works closely with the University of Washington,
Children's Hospital and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, as
well as hospitals in Portland, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Since 1975, we have been accredited by the American College of
Surgeon's Commission on Cancer, a designation given only to facilities
that provide the best in diagnosis and treatment. Our center also
participates in clinical trials through the Southwest Oncology Group to
keep our physicians abreast of the most innovative treatment options.
United General Hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission on
Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
