We're excited to announce another unique event being planned at United General Hospital. The Conference on Awesome Aging is designed for anyone who wants to stay healthy, active and independent as you age.
As you may know, those of us jogging into our 50's and 60's are discovering that we don't want "our father's old age!" We Baby Boomers want our lives to be vibrant, dynamic and under our own control. While this may not be possible for everyone, we know there are things we can do NOW to ensure our later years are healthy and happy.
The Conference on Awesome Aging features guest speaker Liz Taylor (not THAT one!), an award-winning journalist from Seattle (see more below). Liz will present "Aging Deliberately," including the basic ingredients of aging successfully, based on her experiences with her parents, her own aging, and her observations over the years.
We're also planning several breakout sessions for you to choose from. What aspect of aging would you like to know more about? What information would help you, your family, your clients, or your colleagues prepare for a healthy future? Here's a chance to give us your input as we plan this event --
