About Compassionate Response
Compassionate Response is a resource guide focused on providing the necessary skills and tools to respond to youth substance use in schools using research-based practices that support student health and well–being. Compassionate response supports this effort by providing training sessions for school professionals and a toolkit of research informed best practices.
School staff and other professionals working with youth who are found using or under the influence of any kind of substances at school or during school sponsored events in the North Sound Region (Island, San Juan, Snohomish, Skagit, Whatcom).
This toolkit is designed to be a hub of resources with the most up to date information on Substance Prevention and Intervention practices in the North Sound Region. You can register for professional training courses and consult a curated list of evidence-based programs and resources to meet your school’s needs.
