Join us for Youth Got This 2026!

The Regional Youth Got This Summit was created to help give youth the power to confidently be themselves, share their voices, make a difference, and make the right choices.

The goal of the summit is to provide a safe, fun, and positive environment in which youth can discover and develop their own personal leadership strengths. This is an opportunity for youth across the five-county region to make new friends, engage in hands-on activities, and build strong communication skills. Participants will explore the eight core leadership behaviors- self-awareness, communication, collaboration, integrity, curiosity, commitment, courage, and empathy while gaining the confidence and tools to lead with purpose!

9th, 10th, and 11th graders, join us from 8:30am – 3:30pm on Tuesday, February 24th at the District 304 Campus for the 2026 Youth Got This Summit!

This year, we will be taking a deep dive into the core behaviors of leadership and enhance your skills to become the authentic leader your school needs!

Back by popular demand as our Youth Got This Summit facilitator is the incredible Solomon Masala from Source Consulting Group!

This year’s summit will be held at the United General District 304 campus, utilizing the fantastic spaces of the new Salmonberry Learning Center and Heartwood house.

If you’re interested in attending, please contact your school or organization’s advisor to register. If you aren’t sure who your advisor is, feel free to email Olivia.Guelich@UnitedGeneral.org to find out!

What to Expect

Join us at the 2026 Youth Got This Summit for a day filled with learning, growth, and meaningful connection! Students will collaborate with high school peers from across the North Sound region as they take on engaging team-building challenges, participate in interactive workshops focused on authentic leadership, and create a personalized plan to translate leadership skills into real action in your community. Come ready for an energetic, inspiring day of fun, learning, and leadership. We can’t wait to see you there!

What to Bring

This day will involve lots of movement so dress appropriately for sitting, standing, and semi-athletic activities. While most of the summit will be indoors, there will be time spent outside when walking between buildings so make sure to dress for the weather. Below are some items we recommend students bring:

  • Removable layers that can keep you warm and dry
  • Shoes that are easy to walk and move around in
  • Water bottles are provided, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer
  • You may bring your phone but be prepared to put it away and be present
  • Any necessary medications or medical supplies
  • Snacks and lunch will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own food if you’d like, as long as they are peanut and tree-nut free

Meal Information

2025 Recap

Join us for another unforgettable experience at the upcoming 2026 Youth Got This Summit!

Summary & Outcomes

Last year’s Youth Got This Summit was an unforgettable experience that brought together more than 100 middle school students from across the North Sound region. Youth took part in interactive sessions centered on compassionate leadership and healthy conflict, before putting their skills to the test by navigating through team-building challenges alongside students from other schools.

The impact of the summit extended far beyond the event itself. After the summit:

  • 92% of students agree they found a new or different way to be a leader.
  • 95% of students agree they learned new tools they can use to regulate their emotions.
  • 96% of students agree they can list ways to help calm their mind and body when feeling strong emotions.
