Spend time in local parks and out on trails with other active adults from the Skagit area. All community members are welcome. Every walk includes time to connect with other participants and learn about resources to benefit your health and wellbeing.

All walks range between 1-3 miles and are considered easy to easy-moderate. To give participants the opportunity to fully take in their surroundings we provide frequent breaks and walk at a slow to moderate pace. Each session will also include warm-up exercises to prepare the body for safe movement and cool-down exercises to promote gradual recovery.

April – May 2024 Community Group Nature Walks

Join us for the months of April and May as we explore parks and trails in our area! Each group walk location will entice your senses and allow you to experience the many benefits of time outdoors. In April, each walk will be dedicated to one of the senses. And for May, each walk will be related to one of the elements. The walks will include some stretching, mindfulness practices, walking, and some potential creative activities. All parts of the walk are challenge-by-choice with options for differing intensities.
