Rooted: Grieving & Healing Together (formerly known as The Landing) is a program for young people and their caregivers to connect with their grief, spend time with other people who get it, and maybe even have some fun! The Summer Sessions will be a low-pressure opportunity for expression, play, and learning about other resources, including Rooted peer grief groups starting fall 2024. Sign up for one or all of the Summer Sessions – different activities will be available week to week! We hope you can join us and help kick off the re-launch of grief support for Skagit youth.

*Parents or caregivers of youth aged 15 or younger are asked to stay on the premises and have the option to join a caregiver group while the youth are in session from 6:30-8 pm.

About Rooted: Grieving & Growing Together

In the tradition of The Landing, Rooted is informed by the Dougy Center model for peer grief support and principles of grief-informed services. With Rooted, children and teens can spend time together and have the option to take part in discussion, play, learning, and activities for expressing grief in a supportive environment with trained staff and volunteers.
