Skagit Nature Rx’s Hike of the Month introduces you to various trails in our area. On the first Tuesday of each month, a different local hike will be added to our website and included in our newsletter. Follow the map and directions provided for a self-guided walk, get outside on your schedule, and enjoy what nature has to offer!
What to Expect
Overview: Each hike will come with a brief overview, directions to the trailhead, a link to a printable map, and any additional information that might be helpful. Explore the trails at your own pace, revisiting previous months’ trails at different times of the year to appreciate the landscape in all seasons.
Difficulty: The hikes are classified as easy to easy-moderate and will range around 2-3 miles, with 0-350 ft change in elevation.
Cost: FREE (if a Discover pass or other fee is required for parking, it will be noted in the hike details.)
Prizes
Need a little extra motivation? You and your hiking companions can choose to enter a quarterly raffle for prizes.
To enter, please email SkagitNatureRx@unitedgeneral.org a photo of yourself or your group for every walk you complete. Each email should include the names of everyone on the walk, so each individual can get a raffle entry. Photos submitted will not be shared on social media or our website without your permission.
There will be 4 raffles a year, and winners will be announced each quarter.
