Payton was previously placed with a different family member as mom has had impacts with drugs. Payton and mom were reunited 3 years ago and are continuing to establish their relationship, family systems, discipline procedures, etc. Payton presents as a very likeable and athletic kid, mom goes out of her way to get him involved in community programs however, he demonstrates a lack of respect towards her and her husband, John (not his father).
