I’m a single mom but we have a good relationship with her dad, who lives in California, and he’s very supportive of us both. My parents live in town and help out a lot. I also have a great support circle of friends from church. We are technically set up pretty great. But my mental health has gotten in the way of developing healthy boundaries with Daisy. She’s a fabulous kid - responsible and thoughtful - but she’s not thriving because I don’t know what I’m doing. I’m finally in a place mentally and emotionally where I’m ready to make some big changes. I just need help figuring out what they should be.
