YOUTH GOT THIS!
2024
Join us for Youth Got This 2024!
The Regional Youth Got This Summit was created to help give youth the power to confidently be themselves, share their voices, make a difference, and make the right choices.
The goal of the summit is to provide a safe, fun, and positive environment in which youth can discover their own personal leadership strengths. This youth summit is an opportunity for youth across the five-county region to participate in teambuilding activities, learn communication skills, work to discover their leadership strengths, and build a mental library of healthy coping skills.
If you’re interested in attending, please contact your school or organization’s advisor to register. If you aren’t sure who your advisor is, feel free to email Olivia.Guelich@unitedgeneral.org to find out!

Last Year
Summary & Outcomes
Last year’s Youth Got This Summit was a resounding success, bringing together 90 enthusiastic youth from middle and high schools across the North Sound region. The focal point of the summit was on the significance of self-care, healthy coping mechanisms, and their practical application in daily life.
Students were guided by interactive teambuilding exercises and captivating keynote sessions led by Vincent Perez from the Equity Institute and Alexander Cook from CADCA. Throughout these activities, students explored various leadership styles and learned how to harness skills to enact positive change.
The impact of the summit extended far beyond the event itself. After the summit:
- 95% of students agreed they can recognize when they are feeling stressed or anxious.
- 83% of students agreed they have qualities that make them a good leader.
- 85% of students believe that they can make a positive difference in their community.
