There are a variety of ways to get involved with the Rooted program. Attending one of our volunteer training events is required for all potential volunteers. This evening class is designed to acquaint you with the Rooted: Grieving & Growing Together program and learn about volunteering. This evening session covers:
- The spirit and mission behind Rooted
- How grief is experienced at different ages
- Personal relationships to grief
- Volunteer expectations and guidelines
- Group facilitation practice
